This little red-roofed restaurant aims to make great tasting meals using fresh, local produce with negligible environmental impact; their keen efforts to minimise waste and their renewable Ecotricity energy source set them apart from other eateries on the island.
The philosophy of Red Roof states that sustainable food consumption involves a diet based primarily on food produced within your local landscape.
Their dinner menu this season consists of 3 set courses, alongside nibbles, bread, and petit four. Sustainably sourced produce, including that from their own croft and surrounding suppliers, inspires the dishes created in the kitchen. The menu is ever-changing, in keeping with the seasons, ensuring diners are able to sample what Skye has to offer at the time of their visit.
Dinner is served Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings at a 7.30pm sitting.
