Angus was raised on South Uist and after returning from service in World War Two was diagnosed with schizophrenia and transferred to Craig Dunnain Hospital in Inverness. He was held there for 50 years and was mostly mute during this time, Angus would gather grass and make coats, boots and hats. Told in Scots Gaelic and English.
