Welcome to the next generation of What’s on Skye.
Our re-launch goes back to the fundamental reasons why What’s On Skye was created – a focus on quality first hand experience and recommendation on the best places to visit and eat at, where to source local food and what events are on. In brief, a reliable guide to fully experience and enjoy the hospitality that our island offers Skye visitors and tourists.
Content for our new website is divided into two main areas: events listings and feature blog articles that are now brought to you by a team of writers/bloggers from across the island and with different perspectives and backgrounds.
Our events listing will bring you a wide range of cultural, music, arts and food based events and we will continue to broadcast these items on Twitter under @WhatsonSkye and Facebook.
Our new feature blog articles hope to highlight a mixture of special places and experiences, some of which might be off the beaten track or new, and others old favorites. We really appreciate feedback and would love your comments and contribution to each article, so please do let us know what you think.
Technically the website has improved too – it’s now mobile responsive allowing you to easily view content on your mobile devices such as iPad and iPhone. The website was created by Skyewebsites.
We really do hope you like this next generation of What’s on Skye, so come back and visit us regularly, and if you are on Twitter or Facebook follow us for a daily update on events.
