The Edinbane Inn is one of Skye’s most popular places, partly because of its excellent live music and good wholesome food. Situated at the head of Loch Greshornish, it was originally built as a farmhouse and has retained some of its traditional characteristics. A warming stove, open fire and exposed stone walls create a cosy, welcoming atmosphere while regular live music of international standard is not to be missed. There are 2-3 music sessions a week and it’s not unusual for guests with an instrument to join in the craic.
Drinks from the bar include the popular beer from the Isle of Skye Brewery as well as other keen niche producers. Edinbane serves a canny mix of traditional and innovative food using local produce, both in the bar and in the dining area. This is a relaxed, informal place for enjoying food, drink and music where children are most welcome.
