Portree Information Centre is conveniently situated in the centre of the town on Bayfield Road. and is open all year round. Friendly, knowledgeable staff will be happy to advise you on walks, tours, local attractions and outstanding scenery to help make your visit a memorable one. The information centre can book tickets for National Express, Citylink coaches and Caledonian MacBrayne (Calmac) ferries, as well as local boat trips from Portree. It also offers an accommodation booking service and has a large selection of traditional gifts, books and maps on sale.
